Highlands Classical Academy (HCA) will be a publicly-funded school once the doors open in the Fall of 2025. However, the school will need to fund all startup-related expenses before then.

The school startup costs are entirely up to the fundraising efforts of HCA’s Founding Board. Your gifts may go to:

School building rental fees and/or improvements

Headmaster's salary - this individual will be an employee of the school for one year before opening

Costs of legal, financial and charter application consulting fees

Marketing and website

School furniture and supplies

Insurance and staff salaries
HCA will be incorporated as a non-profit entity in the state of NC.. As such, your gift may qualify as a charitable deduction for tax purposes to the extent the law permits. After a donation, donors will receive a gift receipt.
